I feel silly for that last journal, so thank you guys for being kind to me about it. Your advice was extremely helpful and the gentle headslaps were much appreciated! I'll try to keep my pride in check, and let certain comments roll off my back as much as possible.

You really are the best group of people a person could hope to be acquainted with. Every single one of you is smart and thoughtful and gracious with your words. It means a lot!




So I AM going to fiddle around a little with my current "style" and see what else it's capable of. If I can't figure out a better way of doing things, I won't change it. But if I CAN, well...we'll see. But anyway the point is, I need to get my ducks in order because, as you may have noticed, it's been almost a year since the last page of Everlee.

The reason for this very long dry spell was firstly that school had taken over my life, but now it's because I'm rebooting the whole comic and the planning is taking a long time.

I'm going to be redoing all the first pages, some of which will become multiple pages in the new version (example: old page 1 is now going to be new pgs 1-4), so that they're the proper resolution and dpi and all that. Anyway, so that's what's taking so long. I hope the newness of the redone pages will be enough to satisfy you guys until we catch up to the story again. I'll try to keep you entertained in other ways too as we go along.


Okay I know I asked this some months ago, but I'll ask again now:

Would anyone be seriously interested in a CSS-design contest? I'm thinking the first-place prize would be a 1yr subby to dA along with a full color image from me. Possibly will try to get some other folk to offer their art as prizes too. Whatta you say?

It's just I really want a fancy pretty CSS, and doing it myself is a monstrous headache waiting to happen. I know some of you out there are CSS geniuses, so let me know if you'd be able/willing to take part!

Contest would start soon and go til the end of July, I think. Maybe longer. Anyway, I'll make a poll in a second and you can let me know.
