edit: I darkened her front foot so it doesn't stand out so much, and I made her ever-so-slightly more blue. Just a pinch. :3 Commission for *Atherenn (aka ~south-wind) of her gorgeous character, Arieth! Arieth's coat is actually a very dark blue, a color particular to her race that's called "swallow." To learn more go here: [link] I just thought I'd point it out since I think it's awesome that she's blue, but I had to tone it down so the colors would look more prettiful with the warm background.  I was trying to be dramatic without going overboard on the pose, so...hopefully that worked.  Otherwise, for the background I knew I wanted to play with fog and light, so after many failed attempts, I searched the intertron and found this beautiful photo for a reference [link] And that's how it happened! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
